To the east of downtown Orlando and nearby Lake Nona, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is close to the interstate I-4 (SR-400). The northern side of Orlando Airport is skirted by the US-528 highway (Beeline / Martin Anderson Expressway), which leads to the Airport Boulevard.
On the southern side of Orlando Airport, the complex can be accessed off the US-417 Highway (Central Florida Greenway), leading towards the Boggy Creek Road and the South Access Road.
Directions to Orlando International Airport (MCO) from the north:
Suggested Route One:
- Travel along the I-4 interstate in a westerly direction
- Join State Road US-408 (the East / West Expressway), located in the downtown district
- Travel in an easterly direction, join State Road US-436 (the Semoran Boulevard) and follow the signs
Suggested Route Two:
- Travel along the I-4 interstate in a westerly direction
- Join State Road US-528 (the Beeline Expressway), located close to the International Drive and Lake Buena Vista
- Travel in an easterly direction and exit at the airport junction
Directions to Orlando International Airport (MCO) from the southwest:
Suggested Route One:
- Travel along the I-4 interstate in an easterly direction
- Join State Road US-528 (the Beeline Expressway), located close to the International Drive
- Travel in an easterly direction and exit at Junction 11B, following the airport signposts
Suggested Route Two:
- Travel along interstate I-4 in an easterly direction
- Join State Road 417 (the Central Florida Greenway, located close to Lake Buena Vista
- Travel in a northerly direction and exit at the airport junction
Directions to Orlando International Airport (MCO) from the east:
- Travel along the interstate I-95 and head towards Cape Canaveral
- Join State Road US-528 (the Beeline Expressway), located close to the International Drive and Lake Buena Vista
- Travel in a westerly direction and exit at the Junction 11B, following the signposts
